It's Curtains offers you an easy way to design your curtains online before getting an Instant Quote, telling you how much it will cost to have your window dressings hand made and delivered to your door. Choose from a variety of fabrics, curtain and valance styles, tiebacks, tracks and poles, and accessories. April, our experienced Design Coordinator, will then oversee each order, making personal contact with each customer if necessary, to ensure complete satisfaction. You can even order Free Fabric Samples to ensure a perfect match with your own decor.

The recent trend towards less cluttered and busy interiors means we no longer need to spend a fortune on buying yards of fabric to festoon our homes with. Nowadays, clean lines, appealing textures and strong colours make much more of a sophisticated statement than acres of stiff brocade, rows of flouncy frills or over-elaborate trimmings. Grandeur and formality have made way for a new, inviting mood of simplicity and freshness.

However, if this new look of understated elegance is to be effective it does demand a certain amount of attention to detail, quality and finish. You may need less fabrics to make these new soft furnishings, but because the items are more simple and unadorned, the fabric should be the very best you can afford, in exactly the right colour and texture for your room. Try to be sensitive to the dimensions and proportions of your room. In a tiny space allow an understated but elegant curtain to be the single central focus. In a larger room, you can afford to add a few more elements - combine a couple of plump, inviting cushions and a pair of softly gathered curtains to enliven your interior. Just a few finishing touches - the special trimming, perhaps, or piping on a cushion - can turn a humble item into a piece of soft furnishing haute couture.

To find your ideal fabric from the hundreds on offer without being bogged down with choices we have grouped our Fabrics into several categories: Clotted Creams, Blushing Roses, Golden Caramels, Bluebell Breeze, Chocolate Sensation, Dancing Foliage and Linings and Trimmings.

Once you have chosen a category you will be presented with a number of small fabric swatches. Click on any of these you wish to view it greater detail.

For your convenience the enlarged fabric swatch window can be left open, displaying the last fabric which you looked at. However, please note down the names of any fabrics which interest you.

Once you have decided which fabric(s) you like best you can begin looking at different curtain Styles. These are divided into sections, each one covering the range of options for: Top Styles, Valances, Tiebacks, Tracks, Poles and Holdbacks and Accessories.

Click on any of the small images to find out more about that particular option. Some of them even have a photograph of a room setting to help you visualize and generate ideas. Variations in colour, dimensions, etc. available for each option are shown in brackets.

Once you have made your selections using the drop down boxes provided, you can obtain an Instant Quote by simply clicking on Go! Do this as often as you please. You can then choose to print your quote or order your curtains using Worldpay.

To make it easier for you to order your curtains and valance we need only four measurements - the Total Curtain Width (the length of your track or pole), the chosen Drop Height of your new curtains, the Valance Width and any Valance Returns. We will then automatically calculate the specific dimensions of your curtains and valance, how many swags would look best, etc., and tell you exactly how much all that will cost.
